Kids Racing for Kids Triathlon
ZSC is the benefitting organization for a local youth triathlon this summer.
The Kids Racing for Kids Triathlon Series (for ages 7-14) will have an event
in Zionsville on July 4th. This is a great opportunity for our younger swimmers
to try out a new sport and for our older swimmers and parents to give back.
For more information visit the
Kids Racing for Kids website.
To volunteer, e-mail Bryan Boggs.

Club Recognition
The Club has achieved its level one recognition from USA swimming.
This is a program established by USA swimming to measure swim club’s administrative
organization and structure. This achievement is a great reflection of our coaching staff
and of all the work and time volunteered to the team by our board of directors.

Volunteer Opportunity
Zionsville Kids Triathlon July 4th- This Triathlon
is going to be offered to 14 and under kids and will take place the morning of July 4th.
Part of the proceeds from this event will go to Zionsville Swim Club. Last year the triathlon
drew over 50 participants and we hope to draw over 100 this year. Bryan Boggs is organizing
the event and needs some help organizing different aspects of the race. We need a volunteer
to head up; Promotions, Registration,
Set up and Tear down, Swim Course, Run Course, Transition area and Finish. Each volunteer
is needed to organize other volunteers the day of the event and work with Bryan on planning
and setup before the day of the race. We will also need ~30 volunteers the day of the race
to help in each of the above departments. Not 30 each, just 30 total. There is also a
Medical director filled by Dr. Lynn Coy and a Bike Course director filled by Dan Gehring,
they will need more help in their departments the day of the race.
If you are interested in helping please contact
Bryan Boggs He would
like to know by April-18 if you can head up one of these departments.

Information Sources
Our goal is to provide the swimmers and
parents with as much information as possible
in a timely manner. Other good
sources of information are the bulletin board,
web page, and email. You may also go to the
Coaches and Officers
page for contact information.

Calendars
In an attempt to make the calendar more useful
to the swimmers and their families, additional
calendars have been created. The agenda for the
month for all groups is available on the home
page and all the calendars are available from
the practice page. These are all public google
calendars that you can subscribe to, adding
them to your google calendar or other ical
capable calendaring program.
